"QUATTRO PEZZI (NON TANTO) FACILI"
group exhibition curated by Giorgio Verzotti
Artists: Filippo Berta, Massimo De Caria, Carlo and Fabio Ingrassia and Daniele Innamorato
An unprecedented way of collaboration between Fondazione Pistoletto and other Biella Centers dedicated to art is inaugurated at Cittadellarte. Four artists belonging to the most recent generations, Filippo Berta, Massimo De Caria, Carlo and Fabio Ingrassia and Daniele Innamorato will open a confrontation between different artistic procedures. From July 1, video, sculpture, drawing and painting will coexist in a common space, curated by Giorgio Verzotti. The exhibition is titled "Quattro pezzi (non tanto) facili" emphasizing the complexity of thought that the artists infuse into their very different works.
The initiative stems from a choice by Michelangelo Pistoletto, among the participants in the group exhibition Zona Bianca Zero, opening in November 2021 at the Woolbridge Gallery, a large former industrial space turned into an art gallery. Michelangelo has decided to host, at his choice, four among the other artists participating in the exhibition and proposed this other exhibition occasion at his Foundation; a way to more articulately link the latter's activity to the artistic context in which it operates, while maintaining a wide-ranging look at the most interesting research trajectories of artistic practices also with specific focus in our country.
